Hello,
if you have a backup of your events before switching to the new version of the plugin you could try restoring the events using your backup files. Or just manually delete the duplicate events.
If you have an event on multiple categories, it displays multiple times. So to fix it, put each event in only 1 category. I find this a huge inconvenience because I had a general “Events” category that I put everything in and subcategories for more specific searches.
Hi folks,
We just released a hotfix that should fix this problem. Please update your plugins to version 3.5.1. If your issue persists after you update, please let us know.
Best,
Leah
Hi Leah,
We’re experiencing a similar problem with events on our website. See example here: http://commongood.org.za/EN/events/category/constantiaberg-am-pm/month/
We have updated to the latest version of the plugin, 3.5.1, but the problem is persisting.
Any help??
Thanks,
Sam
Hi Sam,
Thanks your note. Would you mind starting your own thread so that we can focus on your particular situation?
Also, have you checked for a theme or plugin conflict yet? That’ll be the first step for troubleshooting this. If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.
Best,
Leah
