Duplication between recipes and posts with recipe shortcode (browse function)
-
Hi, I love this plugin and I am even finishing the Spanish translation before launching my site, however I just got into a major setback.
In order to show recipes on my blog page I need to embed the shortcode in a post. As this can cause duplicate content SEO issues with the recipe itself, I set the cp_recipe post type as noindex in Yoast SEO.
This is fine. However, the [cooked browse] function, which is great, returns the recipes post types (which are not indexed in Google), and not the blog post types with the recipe (which are indexed).
That means people will be commenting in the recipes that they find in [cooked browse] and also in the posts (because they will find them in Google). This is not good.
So I think that the solution could be able to show cp_recipes in the blog archive, or instead, to make the [cooked browse] function return posts with the recipe shortcode.
Is there any fix for this issue? I read all the related topics in support but couldn’t find the solution. Thank in advance.
