# Duplicator problem – URLs not functioning proprely

 * Hi !
 * I’d appreciate all your advise and help on following issue :
 * a) I have WordPress installed on a host that I am migrating from.
 * b) I want to install WordPress in a subdirectory off root, and have modified .
   htaccess file to redirect my URL ( getjoy.in) to a folder (public_html/getjoy)
 * c) Have transferred WordPress using Duplicator to public_html/getjoy on the new
   host.
 * d) Now, when I enter [http://getjoy.in](http://getjoy.in), I reach my home page
   which is fine. But when I click on any post/page link. it takes me to [http://gejoy.in/getjoy/post](http://gejoy.in/getjoy/post)
   or [http://gejoy.in/getjoy/page](http://gejoy.in/getjoy/page) whereas at my earlier
   host the intervening ‘getjoy’ was not here and I’d like same behavior here ( 
   advantage of short URL etc..).
 * e) Kindly advise what to do . Thanks much !

   manager. You might contact your host for the best way the prescribe setting up
   the directory structures to map correctly…
