 * I have Google spreadsheets which update daily based on closing stock prices. 
   If I use this plugin to embed the spreadsheet on a page, will it reflect updates
   to the spreadsheet? Or is it a static screenshot?

 * It is not a static screenshot. It is the same data from the Google Spreadsheet.
   When you update your spreadsheet in Google Sheets, the data displayed in your
   embedded spreadsheet on your website is updated, too, because they are the same
   spreadsheet. That is what “embedded” means.
