 * I currently run a website structure similar to the Franchise example – one master
website with several child sites, one per location.
    This Broadcast plugin looks
like it will work great for updating content, but I haven’t been able to see
if it will allow me to change certain content based on the specific location (
dynamically). Here is a specific example: The homepage of location 1 should inherit
the content from the master site, but it should have certain content that updates
for its location. For example the first paragraph might say, “Welcome to {LOCATIONNAME}!
We are located in {CITY, STATE}.” So the variables would be different at each
of my locations. Is this possible with your plugin?

 * The best solution I can think of is to use shortcodes.
 * Either you create and update the shortcodes yourself, or you can use the [Broadcast Shortcodes add-on](https://broadcast.plainviewplugins.com/addon/shortcodes/).

 * I think that will work nicely. Thanks for the quick reply! Would it work for
other content types like images? An example would be placing an image of the
franchisee on the homepage with in the content that is inherited from the master
   site.

 * The shortcode can contain anything, including a URL. Or a whole < img > tag.
 * Depends on where you are planning to use the shortcode, I guess.
