A search for “nextgen gallery multisite” shows a number of posts with descriptions on how they did it, but the steps require a number of database hacks, config hacks, and all that would make it hard to maintain and upgrade. * Neither the NexGEN doc, nor the FAQ mentions anything about multisite support. * Anyone know for sure if this is supported cleanly? I then had to upload media and create galleries individually in both the sites I was using. * I could not find a way to share media with all sites in an install – like the Network Shared Media allows for. * So, out of the box NextGEN does not have multi-site sharing capability.
