Hi Bharadwaj,
With version 3.5 of AWPCP, you can edit ads as a registered user (who is logged in) without going to the back end and without using BuddyPress.
To do this, you must have:
– Registration for your site enabled
– Registration required for AWPCP (under Classifieds->Settings, Registration tab)
– Ad Management panel turned OFF (under Classifieds->Settings, General tab)
If you do all of those things on AWPCP 3.5.x, you will be able to edit ads on the front end without an access key.
Hi sir,
I have done the settings you have given but it is still asking access key.
Do you need credentials to check my admin side?
Are you logged in as a user in WordPress?
Is that user also one who placed an ad?
You must have those as well.
If you still get requests for the access key, that implies that the settings are not correct OR that your site is still using the old settings and you need to flush the cache.
Can you show me screenshots of your settings above and show me a screenshot of what you see when you try to edit the ad?
I will send screenshots. How can i send them.
I have done as you mentioned but asking access key, where should i send the screenshots.
You can post them using http://imageshack.us on this forum.
Are you running version 3.5 of AWPCP? Those settings should be working.
