# edit button doesn’t appear

 * Hello! I want to make some changes to my webpage and I can’t find the “edit” 
   button any more. Some weeks ago, I could easily edit the pages directly on the
   site by clicking on “edit “. This option (this word) does not appear any more.
   
   Furthermore, as I couldn’t use the previous option, I was able to edit my pages
   accessing the left panel (“Pages”) on the wordpress site, but then any change
   I make is not reflected on my webpage, even after updating it. I have updated
   all the plugins and nothing has changed.

 * If changes are not visible in the frontend, it may be due to a cache plugin. 
   You are obviously using LiteSpeed. Disable it and test it then.
 * About the edit button above the page: but you see the black admin bar when you
   are logged in on the page?

 * I disabled LiteSpeed but nothing changed.
 * I’m not sure about what you mean in your second comment. When I’m logged in on
   the wordpress page, I do see the black admin bar. When I go to “appearance” and
   then “customize” I see a pencil icon to edit the menu on my webpage, but some
   time ago the word “edit” appeared at the end of paragraphs or text so I could
   edit that very easily but now it doesn’t.
    Now, in order to edit text, I click
   on left panel “Pages” and then “All Pages” but then those changes are not visible
   in the frontend.

 * You’re talking about editing text via the Customizer? This is supported by some
   themes, but it is not a WordPress standard. Normally you should edit content 
   of your pages under Pages or Posts.

 * Ok, thanks! I can edit my pages under Pages now but I still can’t see the changes
   in the frontend. I will keep on deactivacting other plugins to see what happens.
