# “Edit” link is missing

 * Hello
    I am brand new to wordpress (and creating a website for that matter) and
   am having difficulty getting started once I installed WordPress from Hostgator.
   As I enter the page to start creating it, the page reads :
 * **This is your front page. Click the ‘edit’ link to change the contents**
 * I cannot find the Edit link anywhere. I searched forums and came up with nada.
   
   Any help is appreciated

 * What you seeing “This is your front page. Click the ‘edit’ link to change the
   contents” is your page content. To see **Edit** link below content you must have
   to logged into WordPress. After that, you will be able to see that Edit link.

 * Thank you for your response Kakshak Kalaria 🙂 I am unclear how to access my 
   webpage from the WordPress.org website. I have only been accessing it by entering
   in the web address when I open a new page.
