 * Hi,
 * Is it okay to edit a plugin directly in \wp-content\plugins folder ?
 * The plugin doesn’t have an option to bring the plugin files inside the child
   theme.
 * Any help is appreciated.

 * Hi,
 * An answer to your question, is no. For a very simple reason once the plugin is
   updated your code will be removed.
 * In case you need to extend any plugin code the safest & recommended way is through
   hooks.
 * Thanks.
