I am new to WordPress and I am building an e-commerce with WooCommerce. I am an Elementor user.

Under Products, there is the interface with the possibility to edit the product description with the text editor provided.

I am using a subdomain to study the ready-made templates made by the team of Astra and their starter templates.

I saw the interface that can be found in the link above: instead of the text editor, for the product description one has a edit-with-Elementor window.

Question: how can one achieve this functionality for already existing products (i.e. no by duplicating the starter templates products)?

The link above has three images: the one with the vase shows the traditional interface, the other 2 the one from the Starter Templates. By the way I used the free one “Brandstore”.

P.S.: if one searches for an answer to this on the web, one finds articles related to Elementor WooCommerce Builder, which is NOT what I am talking about here: a quick glimpse to the photos should suffice.`

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!
From what I gather, this thread’s title and attached screenshots point to using Elementor.

Their team has the following article, that I could find, on the subject:
    https://elementor.com/blog/customize-woocommerce-product-page/

If otherwise, could you elaborate further on the inquiry, please? What I understand from the screenshots so far:
    – First one has a prominent button on editing the product’s description with Elementor
    – Second one shows the Elementor editing interface
    – Third one shows another product (not the same as in the first one), which has some copy in its description -in what appears to be using the core WooCommerce functionality

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

First of all thank you for your reply.

Yes, you understood the images correctly.

The following video should be self-explanatory: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AmIoUZRR1UmglshYh4k4E_WMI1X40A?e=limvF4

First I go to a standard WooCommerce website, and then to the “Brandstore” one of the the starter templates of the Brainstorm team. And yes, I already contacted them, and they didn’t give me a complete answer. They said that implementing this functionality on already existing WooCommerce products is not possible. They didn’t tell me how to do it on new products, so here I am.

Yes, the resource you found is the common answer out there, but doesn’t answer the question I am asking here. Again, the video should be self-explanatory.

Addendum: Using the approach you linked, I am able to change the layout of the product page. I am not able to change the product description itself. The question I am asking is how to edit/customize the product description with Elementor as shown in the linked video.
