edit the categories widget, add description

    hi everyone
    i would like to add the category description to my categories widget.
    (the default WP categories widget).
    i want to show below each category title the description of the category, which i filled when i first created the category at the control panel.
    i searched the web for hours and found nothing about that, i found only information about showing the description in each category page but that is not what i m looking for.
    pls help…
