hi, if you use a mac then you could use coda to connect to the ftp and edit the index.php on the fly. or if you are a dreamweaver or eclipse user just douwload the index.php to your desktop, edit and upload to see the changes. You can also do it by logging into your admin panel and under appearance–> editor you will find the index.php file.

Is there any way to edit this file with a normal editor like new pages or posts?
you can create a page called ‘home’ (or anything appropriate) and make it the front page in settings -> reading
I was thinking about it maybe i do this but what if i create a table with some products and just paste the code to index.php, is gonna work?

The it’s looks like little bit old style and is not auto-change the products but is good and do the job.
