 * Hello Friends,
 * New to WordPress and I wondered if someone might know the answer to this question.
 * URL: [http://greenleefgraphics.ca/test1/](http://greenleefgraphics.ca/test1/)

   I am using Graphene 1.1. I would like to move the BLOG in the left (main area)
   to the right column. I would like to use the area it is presently in for an image.
 * If someone might know how I could achieve this I would be very grateful hearing
   from you.
 * Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

 * There are multiple ways to do that but it would require editing the theme files
   directly or possibly the CSS file if that theme did not already provide an alternate
   layout template.
 * Do you know HTML?

 * Hello Racer X.
 * Thank you for your help.
    I do know html and CSS very well!
 * I read somewhere on the WordPress website that the index.php should not be tampered
   with. So I thought it best to ask as I would not want to jeopardize the Theme.
 * If I can edit the index.php, without throwing a wrench into the works, then I
   will go ahead.
 * Thank you again very much for your advice, I really appreciate it!

 * Always make a backup of the current index file. Then you can always go back.
   Many times index.php is used for more than just your home page. It is your site’s
   default template when a template such as archive.php is missing for example.
 * In your case you’d want to move the [loop](http://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop)
   with the sidebar content. Then you can manually add an image or whatever.
 * Good luck! Remember…BACK UP the index file first!
