# Editable text

 * Hi there,
    I’m starting working with wordpress, I achieved a lot of things but
   there’s a SIMPLE one thing I can’t get done. I have searched everywhere to find
   the solution but, believe it or not, it’s not so easy to find (at least for me).
   The thing is…I have this custom hompage I made, header, banner section, and below
   it I have some CSS formatted texts. These texts are not blog posts, are simple
   texts I’m using on homepage but I need to have them as editable. Anyone that 
   could help me tellling me the right way to do this? (maybe I show a content of
   a post, content of a page, a widget, just want to know the right way to do it,
   and how to do it if possible)

 * You can make a static page in _WordPress_ that you later use as the “`homepage`“:
   go to “`Settings` > `Reading`” in order to choose the one you want to put there.

 * But if you’re looking to obtain an effect on the way the header will look _JUST
   ON THIS PAGE_ and this kind of treatment: there’s many ways to go there but getting
   your hands dirty in the source codes is then required… Or also you can check 
   some “`Themes`” where it could be easier to achieve this kind of results. _Good

 * Hi Le-Pixel
    are you sure that answer was for the question I made? I already 
   have the “static” front page made but the problem is that I need to find a way
   to edit those texts. Thanks anyway.
