• Hi There,

I am trying to modify an existing search form (for a property agency website), which searches a database for properties, and it was already added to the website (as part of the theme I think) when it was handed over to me, but I cant seem to find the place to modify it within WP editor.

Just so you know what I am talking about, you will find the search form on this page:

    https://propertymarkethub.co.uk/search-prop

    Can someone please advise?

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It seems to be an Elementor widget.

    Hi Joy,
I checked the Widgets page, but could not see an obvious option of “search form” to edit.
I found a list of footers, sidebars and a header, on the right hand side, and one of the “available” widgets on the left side is labelled “Search” and it is configured to be “Right Sidebar”, but no option to modify? am I looking at the right place here?

All I am trying to do is to re-order the search options, change label font colours and add a submit button as users complained that it is confusing which button to click and in which order.

    Sam.

That is a search page, with an Elementor widget on it. I can’t tell more than that from here. You should ask the person who set it up, or over at the Elementor support forum.

    No Problem.
    Thanks Joy.
