 * If I choose to edit posts already online do I just push the SAVE button (after
   previewing) instead of the PUBLISH button and will these edits then go live on
   the site without updating the original publication date of the post?

 * I am a new member… Yes, it will be automatically published or published within
   seconds (immediately), unless it is a draft. I don’t know about your last statement
   whether it would/would not update the original publication date of the post.
