Editing Category description

Hi.
When you create a woocommerce product category (webshop category), you can give the category a description. My theme displays the description under the category title in the webshop.
However, I can’t edit it via an editor, and code doesn’t work. I.e., header codes just appear as < code > in stead of ‘header’
Also the text gets centered and you can’t add images and read more buttons in the text.
I would like to make the layout like a normal page, so you can typ a good story and add images / video’s if needed.

Anyone know how to do it?
