# Editing Permalink

 * Hello guys, I have a question, I want to change the full permalink, but itt seems
   that I can not.
 * My theme allows me to create galleries, however it does include the word /galleries/
   before the title
 * http:// www .example. com/galleries/test-permalink/
 * I want to change that word or even take it off.
 * I use the themeforet photography theme.
 * is that possible?

 * Call that company, ‘themeforet’, and ask them for help. That is probably a commercial
   theme.

 * yes it is a comercial theme, but i am asking about if it is possible editing 
   the worpress to change that.

 * Have you checked under the WordPress settings for permalinks?
 * Also,
 * Perhaps by creating a category called “galleries” so that you have those gallery-
   pages given to that category, and then ensuring that you have the “slug” for 
   galleries being created?
