    Hi,

    When editing posts/pages on visual mode and I press the “enter” bar for a new line, it goes down two lines. (http://cl.ly/image/2O191i1p2M1z)

    If I go into the text mode and press enter it goes down one line. (http://cl.ly/image/3M2B202n1w0P)

    How can I make it so when I press enter on visual mode it just skips ONE line (like a br tag) instead of two (like a p tag)?

    Rachel,

    It’s not really that important what we see in the editor, belive me. What I mean is that in “text mode” lines doesn’t really matter but in visual mode by pressing enter you just create a new paragraph. It’s quite the same like in any text editor (eg. MS Word etc).

    In other words: what we see can be sometimes a little tricky 🙂 Just jack out if it looks good on the page and not in the editor. If you think that the published post (on the frontend – seen by readers) doesn’t look good then just try to play with the css style of the theme that you’re using for your WordPress 😉
