 * I’m not sure if this has been reported or if there’s an easy fix. I’ve recently
updated to 4.0 and the editing window is now auto-resizing to the length of the
entire post. I want to keep the window static in size. Is there a way to do this?
I looked on the “Writing” settings tab and didn’t see an option.

 * It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
 * But the window should only resize to the length available in your browser window,
not the WHOLE post (unless that’s the same…).
 * To turn that off, go to edit any post and click on the “Screen Options” tab.
 * From that, uncheck “Expand the editor to match the window height.”

 * It’s extending the window to the end of the post, increasing the length of my
scroll bar in the process. But the Screen Options thing worked. Thanks.

 * I think it sucks. I like the old way. Are you suggesting that for all the hundreds
of posts I have and that I go back and edit periodically that I have to change
the parameters? Adding more work on my shoulders for a feature I couldn’t care
less about? I didn’t ask for that feature. You guys should have made it an option
for us to TURN ON rather than shoving that crap down our throats and making it
default. I suggest you fix that. I want the default to be the other way around.

 * I don’t know what happened with all my posts opening up the new way even though
I changed it to the old way, but now they open up the old way. Weirdness is afoot.
These changes need to be optional and the user needs to be given a choice, especially
with such a large interface change. And there needs to be a single editor control
in the Settings for this sort of thing.
