# Editor authorisation

 * In MDL other users can be authorised to upload files, but only the admin user
   can edit files. Is there a way to allow some other users (e.g. those with editor
   capabilities) to edit documents in the library (modify the information text, 
   move documents to other folders, delete documents)?

 * Users that are an owner or a contributor to the file should be able to manage
   the file, which includes uploading a new version change the name, version, date
   modified, delete, etc…
 * If this is not the case then sounds like something is wrong.

 * Hi,
 * OK, I didn’t realize that this authorisation is limited to the files that someone
   did upload or contribute to. I will try to solve this by adding the editor as
   a contributor to all documents.
