Editor sees comments that don’t exist!

    Hi,

    My customer just complained that WordPress says that there are 222 comments pending, but actually there are only 112 comments there!

    When I log in as “Editor” I do see 222 comments pending:

    Logged in as “Administrator” is see 112 comments:

    Does anybody know where this comes from?
    I use WP 2.8.6 and the following plugins:

    • Language Switcher
    • Role Scoper
    • Comment image uploader
    • WordPress Database Backup
    • WordPress gallery slideshow
    • WP-Simpleviewer

    I’d switch off all of those plugins as a first step. If it goes away you know its a plugin problem and you can start working out which one– though “Comment Image Uploader” does stand out.

    I’ve done that and Role Scoper seems to be the problem.
    It occured since we went over 100 comments:s

    Role Scoper? That’s interesting. Have you notified the author? That is a very popular plugin and a pretty slick piece of work all in all.
