# Editorial Metadata email notification on Due Date

 * Hi! Is there a way to send an email notification to a User Group or the blog 
   admin, when a blog post reaches its due date? I see the benefit of marking a 
   due date, but I’m not sure what functionality exists once a due date is assigned.
   It seems like too useful a feature to not have notifications built in. Please
   advise. Thanks! 🙂
