# “Edit.php” problem after moving “index.php” into subfolder

 * I moved my index.php file into a subfoilder in order to create a static front
   page for my website.
    Everything is working well less that “Previous posts” in
   the admin panel into the Manage > Posts section. It is giving me an error that
   page is not find at the address [http://mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/edit.php](http://mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/edit.php).
 * But it should go to [http://mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php](http://mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php).
 * What I have to do in order to fix it?

 * I assume your index.php is in the /blog subfolder?
    Why do you need the index.
   php in the subfolder again? You can assign a static front page leaving the index.
   php in the WP root.
