 * Hi,
    I am trying to work on my page speed and when I look at the source code
   I see there are hundreds of elementor css elements in the head of every page.
   This seems so unnecessary, can it not be in an external css file? thanks Breda

 * You could do that by changing your CSS print method to External File.
    You can
   find it under WP Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > Advanced > CSS Print Method.
