Elementor doesn’t load when active

Whenever the foogallery plugin is loaded I cannot use the appearance customizer (it hangs) or the Elementor Page Builder (just shows white screen). When I disable the plugin both work. It’s a bit of a hassle to deactivate and activate every time but so far that’s the workaround I can find. Is there any ideas on why this might happen?
