    I’m not a website designer. Please explain this like I’m 5 πŸ™‚

My website is getting stuck on the loading page for Elementor when I try to edit. I’ve tried all of the fixed that I’ve seen online such as:

    • using safe mode
    • disabling plugins
    • updating plugins
    • switching to a previous version of elementor
    • checking my PHP version
    • switching themes
    • checking my memory limit

and whatever else I found online, but nothing works.

    please help

    Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us, and we hope you are doing well and having a great day.

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor and Elementor Pro). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.

Also, this issue could be caused by two(but not limited to) things:

    • Memory limit issue
    • Caching

You may try the following steps to try and fix that issue:

    1. <span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Increase Memory – Check the memory limit in the wp-config.php file and increase it to a higher value, e.g, 256M or 512M.</span> You may ask your server support team to check the issue themselves and fix it for you.
    2. Clear Caches – try going to Elementor ==> Tools then regenerate CSS then clear cache on any plugin you are using then refresh the browser and try loading Elementor again to see if it works.

Please let me know if it works.
