However, the Pro version can sometimes feel overly restrictive due to its requirement for a lifetime subscription. For instance, if you purchase a single-site license for one year, you can only use it for that year, and you won’t receive any new updates afterward. While this subscription pattern is normal and reasonable, the problem arises when your plugin stops working entirely. Even if you have a previous version, you can’t re-edit the pages you created with Pro.
*Additionally, Elementor has introduced domain- level subscription control, allowing only 2 or 3 activations for your existing subscription. Afterward, you need a new subscription for new domains, even when you’re staging websites. This requires continuous reactivation.
*As an alternative, I recommend considering Spectra and Spectra Pro in conjunction with Astra and Astra Pro. This combination can be more cost-effective and offers the freedom of open-source flexibility. It also allows for easy license activation across any number of sites, making it a user-friendly and practical choice.
