# Elementor issues and PHP version

 * I’ve been having some issues with Elementor not loading which seems to be resolved
   at the moment but is still slow. Elementor recommends PHP version of 7.4 but 
   when I updated my PHP to 7.4 it completely stopped working. My server provider(
   BlueHost) suggests PHP 7.4 may not be compatible with the theme and hence the
   problems. Can you please let me know if the theme will be updated to be compatible
   with PHP 7.4?

 * I can confirm that our theme is compatible with PHP 7.4. Because it follows these
   recommendations: [https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/).
 * May I request checking with other default WordPress themes like Twenty Twenty-
   One to see whether you got theme-specific issue or not.
 * While switching theme, I’d recommend enabling Troubleshooting Mode with the help
   of this plugin: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/).
   So your test will run privately — visible only to you (logged in site administrator).
