# Eliminate A Line Break

 * My news site is organized by date, under which are several news items. Following
   each item is a tiny icon representing the permalink. However, the icon appears
   on the next line after the last word of the news item, not immediately after 
   the last word. How can I can I get the permalink icon to appear right after the
   period of the news item? Take a look at it [here](http://www.ifoapplestore.com).

 * The problem is two-fold. WordPress inserts `<p> ... </p>` around your post (do
   a “view source”). Your CSS needs tweaking to fix this, first for your paragraph
   tag and also for the icon, which should be layout: inline. Hope that’s hint enough.
