    The email notifications are definitely working in the current version of the plugin, so it’s probably either just a configuration issue or perhaps the emails are being blocked/sent to spam for other email providers.     If you’re still having issues after that, you can look into using a plugin like WP Mail SMTP. What sometimes happens is emails that are obviously automated are automatically blocked by certain email providers/clients. By using a plugin like that, you are routing emails through your real external email provider, which means that emails don’t come through as automated, but as manually sent, so it’s far less likely they’ll be blocked or sent to spam.
