emails from users who fill out the form do not arrive
-
Good evening,
I downloaded your Forminator plugin to create a “Work with Us” section on our website, but even though I entered my email address to receive responses to the form, why aren’t they arriving? Can you please help me?
Thanks
Ilaria

Hi @ilaria8
I hope you are doing well and sorry to hear the emails are not arriving.
Forminator will use the wp_mail ( native WordPress email ), if you are not receiving the email it could indicate some issues around to that;
Could you please check this checklist: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#form-emails-not-sending to verify if it will work fine?
Let us know the result you get.
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasSame here. They were working before, and I suddenly stopped receiving them. The submissions are still being logged in the plugin’s submission page, but the emails are no longer being delivered. I have not changed anything, so I’m not sure why they stopped sending.
Hi @retakecorp ,
I hope you’re doing well.
Please check the Patrick Freitas reply, try to check this – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#form-emails-not-sending
In case that doesn’t work, please create a new separated topic for you here – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/forminator/#new-topic-0
We’ll check it further for you.
Best Regards,
Williams ValerioHello @ilaria8,
We haven’t heard from you in a while, I’ll go and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any additional questions or require further help, please let us know!
Kind Regards,
SaurabhI have been using Forminator and I’m experiencing the same issue: every few orders, the emails are not delivered. Today it really concerned me when a client told me they hadn’t received anything about their order — that’s a serious problem.
The only way I know a purchase was made is because my payment method sends me a notification email.
I’ve read the suggestions here, but I’m not willing to install additional plugins, programs, or apps to fix something that should be handled by the plugin itself. If this issue continues, I will have to consider changing the way I sell my services.
Hi @paolatb
Forminator uses the native WordPress email, if the form is not sending emails it is possible your WordPress at all isn’t sending emails so any other plugin would have the same problem.
The easiest way to test it is by requesting a recover password to your WordPress user and checking if you received or not.
Keep in mind that there are a few variables that can cause it, installing emails such as mail logging and SMTP are part of troubleshooting, once we narrow down what is happening then we can verify the best fix but it is usually reaching the hosting support to verify why the emails are not working or using SMTP. Those are also lightweight plugins.
Another variable would be the email setting misconfiguration one your Form ( https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#email-notifications-forms )
I do understand there are some steps required here but unfortunately without them we can’t verify why it is happening.
Please, start with the recover password test as it doesn’t require any plugin, feel free to create a new support thread ( https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/forminator/#new-topic-0 ) and we can take a deeper look at your case.
Best Regards
Patrick Freitas
