Emails not sending & Can't update plugin

Emails are not being sent out.
• tested wpMandrill manually – (works)
• submissions are saved in the DB

I thought maybe I needed to update the plugin, but came across issues:

Updating plugin
I manually updated the two php files as suggested in another post, but it still just says “Update Failed: Plugin update failed.”

• I was running 2.0.17 (before I changed the two files to 2.0.18)
• Single site – Hosted on bluehost

Hello,

Are you running the free or paid version of Formidable? If you’re running the free version, you shouldn’t need to make any changes to your files to update. If you’re running the paid version, I would recommend manually updating this time:

Then let us know if you have any issues updating in the future.

It’s running the Pro version, but it was done by another developer, so I don’t have the login to proceed to the manual steps.

Is there anything further you can do? Or do I need to get support through them?

Tried to update via another route and I see the full error:
