Embed codes no longer work

    [embed][/embed] short codes no longer work.

    YouTube is also unable to embed properly unless the shortcode option in Jetpack is activated.

    I’m not sure what has changed or what’s conflicting because old posts with the embed shortcodes show up fine. Any new post I try to make with the embed shortcodes will not work. Even without the shortcode, they will just show the pasted URL. Only having a problem with YouTube too.

    Can you give me an example of one you have tried?

    The special YouTube embed shortcode is part of Jetpack’s provided shortcodes, so that makes perfect sense.

    I’m not sure what has changed or what’s conflicting because old posts with the embed shortcodes show up fine.

    Can you give me links to specifically a post where it worked and a post where it failed?
