# Embed QuickTime Poster Frame

 * Does anyone know how I can embed a QuickTime Poster Frame in a post? I’ve been
   using the following code to attempt this but it simply will not work:

 * Interestingly enough I’m also having problems with embedding a poster frame/QuickTime.
   However, my problem occurs only in FireFox and not in Safari. You can view the
   problem in action here: [http://www.innitdigital.com/wordpress](http://www.innitdigital.com/wordpress)
   
   Select “Restricted Access” from the sidebar and use “access2005” as the password.
   You’ll see (in FireFox) that the layout has gone all over the show. The code 
   I’m using is as follows:

 * Having the same problem in Firefox and IE. Safari works like a charm. 🙁 Is this
   a wordpress or quicktime embed code problem?

 * I wish I had an answer for everyone, I don’t, instead I have a similar problem
   with my video. My site [http://www.drickhancock.com/blog/](http://www.drickhancock.com/blog/)
   looks just fine in Safari, but looks really messed up in Firefox and IE, especially
   on a PC, non Mac, computer.

 * I’ve figured this one out. I’m embedding videos with poster frames at [http://www.podcastnyc.net/flow](http://www.podcastnyc.net/flow)
   by taking two actions:
 * 1. Not using the rich text editor. For whatever reason, rich text editors blank
   out the embed code.
 * 2. Stripping the code down so that it looks like the following:
 * <embed src=”path/to/posterframe” BGCOLOR=”000000″ BORDER=”0″ width=”320″ height
   =”256″ autostart=”false” loop=”false” controller=”false” href=”path/to/movie”
   target=”myself” />
