# Emoji/smiley doesn’t render

 * It appears that the PDF doesn’t render smileys (anymore). The WordPress page 
   does it as it should be, but the PDF export can’t display the corresponding smiley.

 * It looks like the smileys used by wordpress are svg which is most likely not 
   supported by the PDF rendering engine. There is unfortunately nothing I can do
   to fix that.

 * Thanks for your quick answer! I’ve used the Classic smilies plugin to use the
   previous version of WP smilies. It is a workaround 🙂
