 * I’m using [WP Redis](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-redis/) for redis object
   caching, but whenever I save Simple Cache’s settings the object-cache.php file
   is emptied.

   WP Redis.

 * Is it the same code cause from what i saw the site loaded faster with WP Redis
   object-cache.php file?
 * But even if its the same i think the object-cache.php file should not be touched
   if the advanced/object cache is disabled in your plugin.

 * Object cache can exist independently from advanced cache.
