# Empty Alt attribute when using insert from url

 * I’m having a problem I’ve never dealt with before. I use a few sites for affiliate
   linking, and I’ve used them regularly over the last few months with no problems.
   Now all of a sudden I’m getting tons of “empty alt attribute” errors when I try
   to insert images using the image url. Some images insert fine, and then after
   a page refresh they change to the error message.
 * The only thing I have changed about my site in the last week is the theme.

 * Have you tried **switching** themes, such as to one of the default **Twenty\*
   themes**, to see if the errors **still** appear?

    I am so confused. I just went to try that. I happened
   to have left my post open on my browser when I went to bed last night, and I 
   refreshed the page so I could save it one last time before I switched the theme.
   And the images seem to be magically fixed. What? Now I have no idea if the theme
   is the problem or if this will happen more permanently in the future.
