empty output from shortcode

i continue to have problems with
[display-posts category="in-memoriam"]
in https://bostoncamerata.org/about-us/in-memoriam/
the generated page shows the s-c is called:
<ul class="display-posts-listing"></ul>
but it’s empty:-\
i have worked around it by manually listing the few posts involved, but this should work, no?
