# Empty sitemap post xml

 * Hi,
 * I’ve noticed while everything has been indexed, Google is reporting:
 * 2x Errors
 * Missing XML tag
    This required tag is missing. Please add it and resubmit.
 * sitemap-pt-post-2011-09.xml
    Parent tag: urlset Tag: url
 * sitemap-pt-post-2010-11.xml
    Parent tag: urlset Tag: url
 * Checking this, all the others (valid) have URLs under them, but these two have
   no URLs listed under them. Is it possible to have them removed if not required?

 * Please check if the new 4.0.5 fixed the problem. I have made some changes regarding
   the timing of the sub-sitemaps which should fix these empty ones 🙂

 * Many thanks Arnee, version 4.0.5 appears to of fixed this issue nicely. Cheers!
