 * I put this all the way down in my footer widget using the widgets blocks. The
   title for my widget shows, but zero reviews. In the admin, I can see 10 reviews,
   so I know it is pulling correctly, I just don’t understand why it is not displaying.

 * Try changing the review template type to Post or Page. Then use the shortcode
   in a standard text widget.
