    i’ve been looking around for couple days different solutions how to enable
   gzip compression for my site but unsuccessful so far. tried wp super cache and
   w3 total cache and different .htaccesss mods.
 * but ySlow and google speedpage results don’t change.
 * According to web host (hostpapa) they saying the gzip and deflate are enabled.

 * How much data is there page load? I believe gzip will only work if the content
   will be smaller in size after gzip.
 * Example:
    Page size if a total of 500k then using compression will actually make
   it larger in size.

 * ok back to gzip according to gtmetrix or google pagespeed gzip not enabled on
   my site

 * it says server handles gzip and deflate.
 * can’t get compression nor via super cache and w3 total cache or any other .htaccess
   script
 * may be someone got some bulletproof .thaccess or any other codding for compression
