# Encode queue won’t clear

 * Hi, I’m unable to clear the part of the encode queue that has the message “Please
   wait while this video is automatically added to the queue…” and it appears stuck.
   Videos keep getting added to the bottom of the list, but none are encoded from
   the top of the list. The plugin is otherwise working well – I can encode single
   videos as they appear to jump the queue and everything proceeds as it should.
   I can clear the completed part of the queue, it’s just this part thats stuck.
 * Any ideas?

 * Was this a problem before yesterday’s update? Is this just one particular video
   that won’t clear or are there multiple videos that say they’re being automatically
   added? Are the videos perpetually being automatically added to the queue 360p
   or lower resolution? And clicking “Clear All” doesn’t clear anything?

 * I was a problem before yesterdays update, but updating didn’t help.
 * It’s multiple videos that won’t clear, it’s over 50 at this point. If I clear
   any single line, it dims for a second then comes back. Hitting clear all cleared
   the done, but didn’t stop a current encode at the top, or clear the ““Please 
   wait while this video is automatically added to the queue…” below.
 * As its stuck at “Please wait while this video is automatically added to the queue…”
   it doesn’t at that point show which sizes are going to be encoded. I’ve tested
   and am able to encode all formats on single files, but at this time only have
   h264’s selected to be encoded on upload.

 * I’ve just tried again with all other plugins disabled and Twenty Ten theme in
   place. No change.

 * It seems like something is interfering with the execution of WP-Cron. Does anything
   change if you execute it manually by going to [http://yoursite.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron](http://yoursite.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron)

 * Or, you can try a plugin like [https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-cron-manager/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-cron-manager/)
   that will allow you to examine the scheduled cron events and execute them manually
   if necessary.
