 * Hello, so I have a encoding error on all my website when I enable W3TotalCache

This happens on private browser exclusively
 * Problem goes away when I disable the plugin or use regular navigation.
    It might
not display on host page but you would see it when you click on an article.
 * For information, I had encoding errors on my website 1-2 weeks ago until I resolve
   it with a recovery.
So the issue might be that W3 total cache keeps a former
   version on my site.
 * But when I do purge caches, it doesn’t work
I just would like to be sure W3totalcache
works correctly and does not create this encoding error by itself.
 * Could someone let me know?
    Thanks!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fencoding-error-when-enabling-w3-total-cache-2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Any news?
So it looks W3 Total Cache definitely creates an encoding issue (the
results appear on Google Search Console)
 * On my side, I only see it in private navigation but it would display like this
   for all my visitors
When i disable W3 Total Cache and refresh on private navigation,
   it looks fine
 * Do you have any idea why W3TotalCache does that?
 * Let me know, thank you

 * I managed to resolve the issue by disabling gzip compression in the settings
