# encoding problem

 * I’m emailing posts to wordpress using postie, and they are being received fine,
   but all the non-ascii chars are getting screwed up.
 * I installed the support option … set up and have got output telling me that log
   information has been collected … but when I look for the file it names, the file
   doesn’t exist.

 * The directory named above doesn’t exist.
 * I have various screen shots, but can’t seem to attach them in this forum.
 * NB. I’m sending html with an HTML5 encoding statement:
 * <meta charset=”UTF-8″>
 * Is that okay? or should I use an HTML4 encoding statement? Or just send straight
   text?
