 * Hello!
    When I’m asking to encode my videos the get placed in the queue but nothing
   happens. I assume there is an error, but I wouldn’t know what. Both videos I
   put in Queue yesterday are still saying “Queued” after each of the formats. Worth
   noting is that I am able to generate thumbnails and all that.
 * Running the test in the FFMPEG setting I get the following (note that I have
   changed the sitename with [URL] in the file paths):
 * Command:
    `/home/u4-bii1wzhgwa0m/www/[URL]/ffmpeg/ffmpeg -y -i "/home/customer/
   www/[URL]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/video-embed-thumbnail-generator/images/
   sample-video-rotated-h264.mp4" -ac 2 -acodec aac -strict experimental -b:a 160k-
   s 854x480 -vcodec libx264 -profile:v baseline -pix_fmt yuv420p -level:v 30 -crf
   9 -threads 1 "/home/customer/www/[URL]/public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/
   2022/10/sample-video-h264-480.mp4"`

 * I have made some progress and made sure our server host has installed libx264.
   before that I had error messages which I can’t see now. That’s at least something!
   🙂
 * Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a good way to decode these message
   to find an issue? Or is there a log form the Encode Queue?
 * Best,
    Andreas
 * Edit: Clarifying the question.

 * Your FFMPEG test output looks good. Sometimes you’ll see this sort of problem
   because WP-Cron isn’t working. Try installing [WP Control](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/)
   and see if there are any jobs in the queue that aren’t executing. Try manually
   executing them just to see if you can get the queue to start.

 * Thank you [@kylegilman](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kylegilman/) for
   such a prompt answer, on a weekend no less.
 * I have WP Crontrol and it looks like everything is running as it should. I however,
   don’t see any CRON job actions from Videopack. What Videopack actions should
   I be looking for?
 * On a side note; on the Videopack Encoding Queue page there is a play button in
   the top right corner, which when I click it briefly turns into a pause button
   before turning back to a play button. I’m not sure exactly what it’s supposed
   to do, but I would expect it to start the encoding, but that doesn’t seem to
   happen.
 * Thanks again! This seems like a fantastic plugin and and would love to get it
   to work. 🙂
 * Best,
    Andreas

 * Hello again,
    After doing some more digging I notice I’m having issues with the
   thumbnails as well. It was working but then I noticed “When possible, use the
   browser’s built-in video capabilities to make thumbnails instead of FFMPEG.”
   was checked. After I unchecked it I noticed it generates 0kb jpegs, so perhaps
   there’s an issue creating the files.
 * I’m thinking these are related issues.
 * Any directions of how to best debug these issues – or if anyone recognize these
   symptoms – is much appreciated!
 * Best,
    Andreas
