# Entered Code thru WP editior

 * I tried to add a piece of code to my functions.php in the child theme on my WP
   site. The code I entered was from this snippet: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/move-my-metadata-down?replies=10](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/move-my-metadata-down?replies=10)
 * My site is now locked out by a “Parse error: syntax error”
 * I am very new to this and can’t figure out how to enter the site to remove the
   error?
