I do not really understand how I can get the images where they are on preview. I have tried to create a simple blog post with a picture but that dont work. When I create a blog post and upploading my picture that i want to have, it dosent show the picture no where, except it ju click on the blog text and then its all out of proportion. Scroll down below the text editor and click on the “custom fields” link. In the “Name” section, input “Thumbnail” (this is case sensitive). In the “Value” area, input the url to your thumbnail image. * create a category called “Featured Articles” it must be spelled correctly, (also case sensitive) make sure you don’t edit or change the “slug” – so the “slug” should auto set to: featured-articles. now once you have created articles simply add them to the featured articles category (with the custom field from the above step added) and it will add the picture to the front page. * let us know if there are any problems. * regards, * [Isla Sands](https://wordpress.org/support/users/isla-sands/) * (@isla-sands) * [16 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ephoto-theme-problem/#post-1146652) * Hi there Selcyis * I didn’t start a new topic as I am not sure what to call it. I added some pictures and it worked fine. You need to have your target image folder on cache 777 and make sure the custom field has Thumbnail and value: [http://targeting](http://targeting) your image.com. If it doesnt work email me your info and I will fix it for you. * Isla, no it doesnt matter what verison your wordpress is! You need to unzip your theme drop it in your root folder [http://www.domain.com/wp-content/theme](http://www.domain.com/wp-content/theme) then active the theme in the appearance/theme setting, then it should work on your domain.
