# ermalink Structure Question

 * Im using Permalink Structure as follows
 * /index.php/archives/%post_id%
 * I tried to change it to
    /%postname%/%post_id%/
 * But when I make the above change and examine my site so found that all pages 
   are redirected to the home page of the website
 * Since I have the WordPress installation done on root folder of my website so 
   pls redirect what should I do or if possible share the modrewrite code that I
   can incorporate in my .htaccess to have the link structure updated and work properly.
